Original vintage mod pair of 1960's thin cellulose acetate hoop earrings. On the rare side and very collectible.

Cellulose jewelry is hard to find in tact due to their fragility and sought after. Cellulose was a liquid plastic that was poured over the frames and when it dried it had a stained glass appearance. Super paper thin.

They are VERY fragile and VERY lightweight. Although they are clips ons, they give the illusion of being pierced. They measure 2 3/4" long and the hoops are 1 1/2" across. A great find and they are in excellent shape.
