Very collectible Mr. bird pin Circa 1941. Lovely vintage anthropomorphic unsigned Coro bird pin designed by Gene Verrecchio for Coro. Measures 2" long.
He does have some paint wear and I believe his cane used to be black. SOLD AS FOUND.
There were color and paint variations for these pins and it came with a "Mrs." bird pin. This is only a "Mr." pin half. Maybe you can find the Mrs.!

There is a patent drawing for this pair, #125976, issued March 18, 1941. The last photo shows a copy of the original Gene Verrecchio bluebird design, only it is a chatelain chain set. Last photo is just for reference.
