1970's Twisted Choker Necklace Collar Vintage Jewelry

vintage 1970's twisted choker collar. Marked 925. But I cannot confirm if it is sterling. Perhaps it is plate?

It measures 5" across the interior.

The inside of the necklace is marked with the maker, but I cannot make it out. There is an orange-y spot and another round spot on either side of the necklace and some age appropriate wear. I did not polish this piece.
