Vintage Space Giants Claw (Sangrias) figure in the original bag. The figure is in mint shape and on the rare side.

Not a remake and circa 1970.

It took me hours to research this toy to make sure I had the right information. There are LOTS of photos to look through. The last two photos are reference photos to show what the logo looks like on the bottom of the feet of this figure and what the figure looks like without a bag. They are not photos of this figure.

It was tough to photograph this figure still in the bag, but I did not want to remove it.

The package has a rare header that shows Goldar and Goku on one side and Astro Boy, Dr. Tenma and his sister Uran on the reverse. The company did this to save money, I was told. As you can see the package header has wear.

The bottom of one foot has the same embossed logo that it is on the package header and Japan on the other foot is in Japanese. The bag has wear and two holes.

Space Giants was a 1970s Japanese science fiction series with 52 episodes and was a popular fixture on syndicated television in the United States.

Claw (Sangiras) sent out a red stream of nerve gas from its tail.
