Vintage genuine scarab ? beetle that has been gilded and encased in apple juice color resin. The resin is a paler shade than some of the photos show here.

The brownish/reddish spots are some sort of plant, seed or flower. Very unique.

The pendant measures 2" long with the bail and approx 1 1/4" wide. It is 1/2" thick and quite chunky!

The 20" chain is solid sterling silver and marked on the clasp. Wonderful links.

Do not know much about this piece. But it is a great one! Wonderful shape.
