Vintage Bubble Lite Featherlite Hoop Earrings

Vintage "bubble lite", "bubbleite" or "featherlite" hoop earrings. I spoke with the daughter of the original maker of these style jewelry and she said the material used for these earrings are made with crushed coral and then they are molded.
They resemble plastic. They are VERY light weight. The hoops measure just under 1 1/2" across. These originally had clip tops. they were removed and gold plated ear wires have been added.
