1960's Mod Color Block Penthouse Gallery NY Dress Pre Catherine Ogust?

Super fabulous BOLD color block Penthouse Gallery of New York smooth cotton dress. Love these colors! Lots of photos to look through.

I tried researching this dress to determine if it was designed by Catherine Ogust. Reason being, the net said that she joined the firm in 1975 and that their former dresses were only made in solid colors. It does not have her tag, it only has the Penthouse Gallery tag. Penthouse Gallery made their dresses shorter than the dresses she designed. It has all the bells and whistles with the knotted buttons, mandarin collar and long sash. Slits on the sides. Pockets on either side. So perhaps whoever offered that info on the net was incorrect by saying that Penthouse Gallery only made solid color dresses before her arrival in '75. This dress is absolutely prior to her arrival.

This is a great set. It does have some marks and shoulder fade line on shoulders from hanging. But the colors are so vibrant and busy, any imperfections are hard to notice. One of the side slits needs to be restitched. View 15th photo, The sash is simply marvelous.

Here are the measurements as follows. Measured flat.

Across the chest: 24" wide from arm pit to arm pit

Length from shoulder 34" long

Sleeves cuffed are 15" long.

There is a 3" hem.

The sash is 5" wide and 84" long.
