1950's Black Orlon Sweater Beaded Ribbon And Pearl Trim Never Worn Original Tag

Vintage original 1950's black Orlon ladies sweater. Never worn. It is trimmed with black satin woven ribbon with gold glass beading on the edges of the ribbon and accented with white faux pearls.

Dark grey pearly buttons. This sweater is meant to be worn to fall at the top of the hips. The tag reads "100% Virgin Dupont Interlock Orlon Acrylic Fiber". The original paper tag reads Sz. 38. But that is a vintage Sz. 38 and not the same as today's measurements. The mannequin is approx. a size 9. There is some minor pilling here and there from being stored and hanging around. See last photos for example. Sold as found.
