WWII Washington Artillery Insignia 773d Tank Destroyer Battalion Gilt Sterling Pin or Badge. "FIT VIA VI", which stands for "the way is forged".

The back is marked sterling faintly.

If this is title is incorrect, please let me know! Military collectibles are not my milieu.

Info I found on the net:

"Activated on 15 December, 1941, from the 73d Provisional Antitank Battalion, which had been formed from Louisiana and Pennsylvania National Guard units in July. "

It measures 1" long. The wite-ish mark you see under the last white dot on the right is just a light reflection in the enamel. Not missing or discolored enameled.

A little white enameling missing in some of the whiskers.

The pin back needs a little adjusting to hold better.
