Krazy Cat Enameled Pin George Herriman Cartoon Comic Book Memorabilia Vintage Costume Jewelry Cats Kitty
Vintage 1920's-1930's or earlier enameled "Krazy Cat" pin.
Krazy Kat (also known as Krazy & Ignatz in some reprints and compilations) is an American newspaper comic strip by cartoonist George Herriman, which ran from 1913 to 1944.
But the way I remember Krazy Cat was watching Krazy Cat cartoons. It was one of my favorites. Her side kick was a brick throwing mouse named Ignatz and there was Officer Bull Pupp. But the cartoon I watched was a remake of the original silent Krazy Cat cartoons. Krazy Cat has been around a LONG time.
It measures a 1 1/4" tall. This pin is an oldie and the enameling is in pretty good shape. Blue rhinestone eyes. with Primitive style pin back and patina as you can see. The pin shaft has a slight wave to it. Sold as is.
