Vintage Hillcraft Jadeite Green Czech Glass Earrings Costume Jewelry 1950's Accessories

Vintage pair of Hillcraft of jadeite green Czech glass "slide on" earrings with gold details. Their centers have a "cat eye" effect.

They measure 1" across.

There are "indents" on the backs. At first I thought they may be chips, but they are smooth and I have other pairs with the same indents. They are in great shape with only a few TINY edge nips on the backs. No big whoop!

Hillcraft Castlecraft jewelry hailed from Rockville, Indiana. They used Czech glass stones and also lucite. They did not sign their jewelry. They used specially designed gold filled wire. The earring backs slide on to the ear and are worn slightly at an angle.

Many people consider Hillcraft earrings to be more comfortable than the usual earring clip on earrings.
