Mod 1960's Cellulose Earrings Vintage Jewelry
Original vintage mod pair of 1960's thin cellulose acetate hoop earrings. I can't believe these survived the sands of time.
Cellulose jewelry is hard to find in tack due to its utter fragility. It was a liquid that was poured over the design and when it dried it had a stained glass appearance. Super paper thin.
They are VERY fragile and VERY lightweight. Although they are clips ons, they give the illusion of being pierced. They measure 2 3/4" long and the hoops are 1 1/2" across. A great find and they are in excellent shape.
*You can always make these into pieced earrings by removing the tops and adding ear wires. We sell new ear wires for .25 cents in a separate listing.
