Bakelite Bi Color Flower Hat Pin Brooch Screw On 1940's Accessories Vintage Costume Jewelry

Vintage carved bi color bakelite hat pin. One side is butterscotch and the other is an orange with lighter swirls. (unusual color)

The pin shaft is threaded and it unscrews and these were worn on wool hats. You can also wear it on a coat with a heavy weave or jacket lapel. Since the pin shaft is on the heavy side, I suggest wearing it on heavier fabrics.

It measures 2 3/4" long and 2 1/4" wide. I thought there was a nip in one of the"petals" but it is a carve mark from the manufacturer. Many bakelite piece were crudely carved.
