Bakelite Art Deco Dress Clip Set Vintage Costume Jewelry

Unusual pair of vintage apple green genuine bakelite dress clips with carved out black beaded centers. TESTED. I do not sell fake-a-lite.

Not sure what the beads are made of in the centers. Perhaps glass or lucite? I tried to test the beads and it proved very difficult to get a proper result.

They measure 2 1/8" long and 1" wide across the tops. They are approx 1/4" thick as the thickest parts. The back of the clips read Made USA. Clips in fine working order. All "teeth" are present.

They are in really nice shape, but does have a few rough edges on both of them on the BACK edges on one side. Who sees the back? And there is one hairline crack that has oxidized to a dark amber color with age, as well as some of the edges which is typical. This hairline crack is also on the BACK. Please view all photos.
