Bakelite and Faux Pearls Multi Strand Necklace Rhinestone Rhondelles Costume Jewelry Mid Century

An unique necklace!

Vintage multi strand necklace with genuine bakelite apple juice flying saucer beads with faux pearls and rhinestone rhondelle beads with small crystals on either wide.

I tested the apple juice beads with simi chrome and they tested positive.

This is a very unusual mix of beads and simply wonderful.

I think the clasp was replaced and it is not original to this necklace. It just seems looks like a different color and just doesn't look right to me.

The shortest strand measures 16"long. The longest is about 25" long. The beads are in fabulous shape with the exception of one bead having a slight pale yellow tint to it. See 8th photo. No big whoop.

I don't think the clasp really works that well with this piece. You can keep this necklace as it is, or replace the clasp or make some dandy earrings. The rhinestone rhondelles are fabulous. They would make some gorgeous earrings that would have an art deco look to them.

There are enough beads for five pairs with the bakelite beads and onesingle left over. Sold as is and all sales are final.
